Public Meeting | Red Blue Connector (In-Person)

Meeting Info

Date: October 16, 2023 at 6 PM - 7:30 PM

Location: Paul S. Russell, MD Museum at MGH • 2 N Grove St • Boston, MA

Attendees: General Public

Event Description

Note: The public meeting presentation has been updated slightly to incorporate additional information addressing questions that were raised at the October 2023 public meetings.

As engineering and environmental planning progress on the Red Blue Connector project, we will be hosting two in-person public meetings in October.

During these meetings, we will present an overview of the preliminary design plans for the project and upcoming state and federal environmental milestones. The project team will be available to take comments and questions after the presentation. The same information will be shared at both meetings, so you can attend the location that works best for you.

The Red Blue Connector project would connect the Red and Blue lines by extending the Blue Line beyond its current terminus at Bowdoin station through a new tunnel under Cambridge Street to Charles/MGH station on the Red Line.
