MBTA Ferry Service Changes Tomorrow Morning in Advance of High Winds

The MBTA today announced that the work to re-gauge the track along GLX will not be completed by December 11 as initially anticipated under the plan presented by the project’s contractor, GLXC, which requested additional time of the MBTA. The MBTA has granted the contractor an additional seven nights to continue the work – until at least December 17.

This service change is in place while crews perform work as part of the Track Improvement Program, which will alleviate speed restrictions along the line.
