Homans Building Demolition

On April 6, 2019, the final demolition of the Homans Building took place, marking a milestone in the Green Line Extension (GLX) project. The demolition site, near Medford Street and Pearl Street in Somerville, will be used as a GLX construction staging area.
The site is next to the future Gilman Square Station on the Green Line, as well as a future traction power substation.
