2025 Planned Closures

In 2025, we'll continue to make repairs and upgrades to infrastructure across the system. We're upgrading signal systems, improving accessibility in stations, doing planned maintenance, and repairing tracks.

This work across the Red, Orange, Green, BlueSilver lines and Commuter Rail will:

  • Enhance safety
  • Prevent slow zones
  • Reduce delays
  • Improve schedule reliability
  • Enable more frequent service
  • Increase platform and elevator accessibility
  • Improve realtime audio and visual communications about service

Closures Calendar

To improve stations and tracks, we'll implement some closures throughout 2025. You can view the current calendar of planned closures from January 1, 2025 through December 31, 2025.
