  Middleborough Line Train 016 (12:43 pm from Middleborough/Lakeville) is cancelled today due to fire department activity in the Braintree area. The next inbound train is Middleborough Train 018 (1:58 pm from Middleborough).

• Extra Service

  An extra Middleborough Line train will depart Braintree at 1:45 pm and make all local stops inbound into South Station to accommodate passengers from cancelled Train 016.
• Schedule Change

  The new Fall/Winter Commuter Rail schedules go into effect on Monday, November 18th with seasonal and on-time performance adjustments. Schedules will be available online and in stations soon. Visit MBTA.com for more information.
  -The ski train will be back on the Fitchburg Line. Wachusett Mountain ski area operates a shuttle between the ski area and Wachusett station during Winter months to connect to these trains which feature a specifically modified coach equipped with racks for ski and snowboard equipment. Update to when the Ski Trains will be in effect will come out soon.
  
  -Holiday service:
  On Thursday, November 28th, 2024 (Thanksgiving Day), Wednesday, December 25th, 2024 (Christmas Day), Wednesday, January 1st, 2025 (New Year’s Day), and Monday, February 17th, 2025 (President’s Day) all lines will operate on a weekend schedule. On Monday, January 20th, 2025 (Martin Luther King Jr. Day), and Monday, April 21st, 2025 (Patriot’s Day), all lines will operate on a regular weekday schedule.

  Middleborough Line passengers will be accommodated by a shuttle bus until further notice today between Braintree and Holbrook/Randolph due to fire department activity in the Braintree area.
• Service Change

  No bikes/scooters will be allowed on Middleborough/Lakeville, Kingston, and Greenbush Line trains from the start of service on Tuesday, November 5th through the end of service on Sunday, November 10th due to expected heavy crowds from Red Line work.
• Service Change Upcoming

  On Monday, November 11th (Veterans' Day), all Commuter Rail trains will operate on a regular weekday schedule.

  The Riverside Ave entrance at Campello Station is currently closed. Passengers may continue to use the Plain St entrance.

• Parking Closure Upcoming

  The Bridgewater parking lot will be closed on Thursday, Nov 14 (overnight from 8 PM to 5 AM) and Saturday, Nov 16 (full day closure) due to construction. Vehicles left in the lot during these times will be relocated or towed at vehicle owner's expense.
• Bike Issue Ongoing

  South Station Pedal & Park is closed due to construction. Bicycle racks are currently available on Atlantic Ave adjacent to the South Station main entrance. MBTA.com/projects/south-station-transportation-center-improvements
