• Station Issue Ongoing

  The accessible mini high-level platforms at Beverly Depot will be closed for replacement through Summer 2024. Please board trains from the temporary boarding areas.
  To cross the tracks, please use the pedestrian crossing in front of the Beverly Depot restaurant. Passengers may also consider travel to/from Salem station. MBTA Bus #451 provides accessible service to Salem from Cabot Street in Beverly.

  The police activity near Chelsea has cleared and the signal issue near Swampscott has been resolved. Normal service is resuming on the Newburyport/Rockport Line but passengers may experience residual delays in both directions.
• Service Change

  From July 5th to August 5th, Zone 1A fares, including Zone 1A monthly passes, are accepted for travel to and from any station on the Newburyport/Rockport Line to accommodate passengers during the Sumner Tunnel closure.
  Zone 1A monthly passes are accepted for travel to or from any station on the Newburyport/Rockport Line for the entire month of July.
